Cyril will not go see a movie unless it's about something
at least 500 years old. "There wasn't enough fuel to take
me with them," he'll tell you, "I'm one guy alone,on
an artistic asteroid." Marooned by mainstream culture, Cyril
describes his days as ones spent in slavery to the machine he
has created, a Frankenstein composed of photography, music production,
and graphic design...a monster to which he is now grafting Cyril
Magazine.
Welcome to the premier issue of Cyril Magazine. Cyril
has brought it to life with the intention of bombarding the senses
with enough photography, art, literature, music, fashion and
lifestyle features to create a spark of interest even in the
gloomiest of castles. We have founded this publication on cyberhope
- the only hope there is left. The best hope for communicating
ideas about goth
culture across all cultures, and time zones. Cyril Magazine
is on-line so
it ís always here when you want it to keep you company
in the middle of the
night. And you don't have to go out into the sun to get it!
Cyril Magazine is edited by Monochromatica, who finds
there's nothing quite like languishing in a cube-filled dungeon
to maintain one's gothic pallor. She is tormented daily at the
gnarled hands of an evil troll called Manager, the twisted handmaiden
of the evil vampire Day Job, a fiendish succubus hell bent on
sucking out her entire brain and turning her into a zombie.
