Try to place things on your wall that you love and speak to you. After
all, it is your room. If it weren't for the posters and objects I have on
my walls, my room would look bland. I have a poster of Peter Murphy and
other pictures I found of him. I also have some replica Salvador Dali
paintings. I also display drawings from my friends, photographs of mine,
and CD covers.

Plants and flowers can add a romantic feel to a room. A white plaster
pedestal with leaves of a lovely green plant draping towards the floor
gives feelings of growth and beauty. Plastic plants work best, but it is
work to keep them clean and dust free.

Remember: your castle should reflect you and your beliefs. Use things
that add to a feeling of comfort and relaxation within a price range that
suits you. With a little work, you should have a great bedroom in no time.
Below are some tips to get you started:

  Tips from Violet Sky

 1. You can usually find some pretty good candle holders at thrift storeor garage sales. A little polish and they look great.

2. Try to use objects with multiple purposes.

3. Open your own art gallery. Use your space to display the work of you
 and your friends.

4. Old can be new to you. Paint an old chair and it becomes your new chair.
