The Hunger

Hunger so ravenous it tortures me
My taste for blood my insanity,
I worship, live and breathe for you
At the sun's last light one thing is true

I am damned eternally to hunt my prey
Wandering at night and hiding by day.
Heart beating faster my breathing is shorter
Unholy existence, of perpetual slaughter.

My blood pumping hotly my senses are wild
Purity and beauty will soon be defiled
Desire is growing, thirst driving me on
One moment in dreams in another she is gone.

My mouth pressing down and fangs pierce her flesh
I drink life eternal and mourn for the blessed.
Two droplets, two punctures are all that remain
A noble one's calling card, the message is plain

No blessing can save you or protect you from me
When the night is the darkest my spirit flies free
Feeding the hunger and my immortality.
