violet and blue

well, she is violet
and he is blue
and she has seen the world
for him - it is brand new
well, she has learned her lessons
and he, he still makes mistakes
her heart still breaks
she can be teacher, and lover, too
for she is violet
and he is blue

and this - it is perfect
it is all brand new
it is like the ocean -
coloured, flowing, true...
and she will help him to get through
and he loves her, too
for she is violet
and baby, he is blue

well, he revolved around it for awhile
he was just her style...
and she, well, she looked on him with a smile
and then they circled
and then they flew
cause she - she was violet
and baby - he was blue
